Hi all, Can anybody offer any suggestions we can try to clear this serious irritation from his phone?
When he accesses bbc.co.uk , Safari seems to very quickly jump to and through about 10 junky websites which flash past in the URL bar and he ends up on some spam site. Sometimes it also pops up with a dialog and asks "Open in App Store?" With Cancel and Open as options. He chooses Cancel. It means that it is effectively impossible to access this site from his phone. It happens at home on our WiFi and out and about on 4G. He has cleared the cache but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. When this all started a while ago, I also experienced the same problem 90% of the time on the daring fireball website on my iPad. However, for some time now (I think before installing iOS 10) daring fireball now loads just fine. As far as I'm aware, I have not changed any settings at all. Neither of us have any problems with any of these sites on our Macs. Any help very gratefully received.
