Thank you for jogging my memory. I’ve not had problems with Safari to date but then I rarely ever have more than 5-6 tabs in play. I’ve found that Siri on both Macs needed to have the audio sampling frequency increased before it was able to understand my voice with good accuracy. You can change the frequency with the Audio Midi Setup app found in the Utilities folder - 44MHz seems to work nicely for me. Also for the Mac mini the mic in the very cheap webcam I’ve used wasn’t sensitive enough to get good accuracy. I chose a medium priced Logitech model which works well from 10-12 feet without having to shout at the mic. The main problem with Siri is finding out the best way to frame a question. You can use Siri for many things by trial and error but I’ve found that by asking a question in the form “can you help me on ….” has often got Siri to set out the scope of assistance it can provide. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Sussex Mac User Group" group.
