I’m in sunny (oh, no, hang on, it’s not sunny) Brighton. I’ll have a look at Laptop Workshop thanks – it’s at least reasonably local. I’ve taken a punt on a few Apple things on eBay too in the past (my iMac and iPhone 4S for example) and it’s always been ok, but it’s a risk I’m not always comfortable with.
Yeah, there’s always Apple Refurb - but I’m already surprised just how expensive refurb iPhone 6s are. I was naively expecting under £200 but it looks like £250 min for something with more than 16G memory. Hmmmm.
