When I delete emails on my iPhone 6, I find that it does indeed delete the same
emails on my iMac – but then it proceeds to list those deleted emails as
"unread emails". The result was that I came back from holiday to find hundreds
of “unread emails” on my iMac (all of which had been deleted on the iPhone).

I have been browsing the internet and it seems that this, or a similar problem,
was a bug associated with iOS9. My iPhone is on iOS10.2 and I am wondering if
it is affected by the same bug.

Has anyone had the same problem, and is there a way to fix it?
