The glass and LCD are fused together. You need both. Just get a professional to
fit it, it's quite fiddly and if you damage the home button or cable then it's
definitely back to Apple.

Howdy,

My 6s plus has a smashed screen and I am loathed to give Apple any more money
than I have to. It irks me no end that they make the screens so fragile,
especially when you can buy a thin, tough, screen protector for peanuts; why
not put that on at the factory. Anyway...

I live i Thailand and we have a site called Lazada, which has a lot of Chinese
companies selling all sorts of electronics bits and pieces. One thing they sell
are replacement screens. If I bought one it would work out about half the price
of getting it from Apple - I aren't fussed about the guarantee.

My question is what exactly do i need, would I need this: Full LCD
Display+Touch Screen Digitizer For IPhone 6 Plus~White or do I just need the
screen: Front Glass (no inner LCD Display Touch Screen) for Apple Iphone 6
Plus~White which is a fifth of the price?

The screen is pretty beat up as you can see in the attached pic, but I’ve been
using it, as it is, for 6 months and it's worked fine.

Many thanks.

Michael
