Have you checked if your router is vulnerable to being hacked?

Its also worth calling Zen if they supplied your router.

Hello all,
Some dodgy nastiness has got into something here and keeps changing
the DNS Server IP addresses on our router. I modified them yesterday
to point to Zen’s DNS addresses (we are with Zen!) but today I found
they were back to something dodgy again. I updated them about 45 mins
ago then checked again 10 minutes later and they had been altered
again! These no doubt have been, and are, responsible for redirects to
spam and worse web pages on our Macs and iOS devices at home.
I’ve downloaded a trial of ClamXav which is running as I type.
Is there anything dear fellow SMUGgers would suggest I do to resolve
it and what can be done to stop it happening again. We’re both very
aware of dodgy emails and the link, clicking on stuff in emails and
the like but is there anything else to be aware of?
Also, I notice that in my Safari > Prefs > Privacy > Manage Website
data … there are suspicious/unwanted entries in there which if I
select and delete return again. Doesn’t seem right! Any thoughts on that?
Any help or suggestions appreciated.
Cheers,
Stephen
