Thanks Adam. I thought it was sorted but things have slipped again … :-(

MalwareBytes found a OSX.Genieo or AdWare.Genio (can’t remember) which I 
removed and then restarted. It no longer finds anything but the DNS addresses 
are still getting changed on the router.

I’ll keep people updated in case it has any relevance to any others.
