Slightly different experience here: A 1.85 GB download on my iPad Air - I don’t have fibre but I’d guess that the entire installation from start to finish probably took about 30 minutes.
The notification screen seems a little slower to me and it feels as though things are just a little slower overall, but I’m not really sure. Just a feeling. I had 2.15GB free before the update but I now have 8.8GB free! Result. :-) 6 32-bit apps have had to bite the dust :-( On the iPad I’d say it’s huge change time! The dock, drag and drop, sliding the 2nd app left and right on the screen, control centre thingy and other features I know exist but haven’t seen yet. Now settled down to read Federico’s mega review: https://www.macstories.net/stories/ios-11-the-macstories-review/ <https://www.macstories.net/stories/ios-11-the-macstories-review/> Cheers, Stephen Bernice Morris, whose home was completely destroyed the Moore tornado in May 2013 said: “It’s just nothing… but pieces of wood, pieces of my life ... you work hard for a lifetime and it just took 30 seconds for it all to be gone.” > On 19 Sep 2017, at 23:00, Tony Crooks <[email protected]> wrote: > > I updated my iPhone 6S Plus this evening.
