Dear all, I have a work horse of a MBP that I love dearly. Specs are MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011) 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7 running 10.11.6 (15G18013) Memory 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB. Recently it has started to be much noisier (more constant fan noise) - it seems to have started after I recovered several GB of space with CleanMyMac 3 and Gemini 2. I haven't done any 'maintenance' on it at all so is there something I can do to improve its performance? It also seems to run the battery down very quickly when unplugged. Any advice welcome.
