Thanks Jason. I remembered Migration Assistant and in spite of my best intentions to follow your suggestion that has funnelled me down the Time Machine route. I’ll do a bit more research and may have another go tomorrow. Nick
PS. Sent last night from wrong email address so got rejected. MBA seems to be working fine.
