Afternoon all, I’ve just taken the plunge and ordered a new Mac Mini to replace my trusty but tired iMac. The Mac Mini will arrive in around two weeks (it’s a built to order spec) and when it arrives my plan is to move everything across via a Time Machine backup from the iMac.
So, is there anything I need to do in the meantime to make sure the transfer process goes as smoothly as pos?. For example, the iMac is currently on El Capitan, so presumably I ought to update it to Mojave first? Also, I’m sure there’s a few apps and accounts that are authorised to the iMac (iTunes for example) that’ll need to be de-authorised, but is there any easy way of discovering which apps they might be (‘cause I’ve long forgotten). Anyway, does anybody have any hits and tips that’ll save me time/hassle?
