Hey all I've been keeping an eye on the Apple's Refurb store for a Mini that'll last me and the children a good long while - they've got a 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD - looks great. Thing is, it's the i7 6 core model, so pricier than lower end i3/i5s....
Given it'll be usual family use, am I throwing money at horsepower we're very unlikely to ever use, as our regular Apps won't call for it? We're not a music or film studio, nor high level photo editors or gamers, or not yet, anyway!? Any thoughts?
