Thanks Derek, and whilst I agree, it's just I thought it the case that only 
certain Apps actually use all those Cores, and given we're not movie 
producers, unlikely to ever use Apps that will?

Unless, having more horsepower means there's general speed and efficiency 
gains all round and a little more future proof for longer?

We can stretch to it, but want to check I'm not buying power we'll never 
actually use as the Apps aren't coded to use those extra cores?!

That said, I'm keen on the 512GBSSD - I'd rather have it all internal than 
plug in cheaper external once 256GB is full....

Tough call, albeit first world problems I realise.
