So I took the plunge and got a Mac Mini and will run both the old tank
of a Mac Pro for some things (remotely) and this new beast.
I ran migration assistant (which seemed to choke on Applications so in
the end I omitted those). However, I'm not convinced it has moved much
data - nothing has its settings or licence info and the thought of
entering each and every one (if I can find them) fills me with great
impatience. *Should* Migration Assistant have copied that over or am I
expecting too much?
