I tried using retroactive which has allowed me to run Aperture but when I point Aperture to my old library it gives me a dialogue box saying ’the aperture library is open in com.apple.photos - to open this library you must quit com.apple.photos’ However, I am not running the photos app. Have I f**ked my original library by trying to open it in photos?
