Hi everyone,

I've had enough issues with Big Sur recently that I'd like to reinstall it. There was a time when you could download an updater and run it. Now all the advice I see assumes you want to zero your current install rather than fix it. Before I complicate my life any further, is there a way to reinstall over an existing installation?

(too many weird problems like the sound one I mentioned recently are going on, something isn't right. I haven't had to restart so often since OS 9...)

Cheers,

Jason
