Dear Gilly,

Try it holding down ALT before you click on the Go menu. This usually 'unhides' Library. Keep ALT down until you've clicked on Library then it should show a folder in the Finder where you can see Mail (and so on).

cheers,
J

Sam, when I went into Go – Home, there was no Library folder visible. Therefore also no Mail V7 etc.

Is there anything else I can do?

Gilly

One thing to try would be to:

Quit Mail
Go to the Go menu > Home
Go into the Library folder > Mail > V7/8/9 (whichever number is highest) > MailData
Delete any files starting with EnvelopeIndex
Reopen Mail and select to reimport all your mail.

That should re-index the mail stored on your Mac, might take a while but could help
