I have been trying to work out how to stop Siri reading out text messages while
I have my AirPods in – without choosing a silent focus mode. Basically I simply
want it to never happen but the settings do not seem to permit this. Am I
missing something? I listen to a lot of audiobooks or get my phone to read out
essays and similar, and I can’t hear what is being said behind the text message
read out. It’s really infuriating that there is no off button that I can find
(everything seems to have an exception for when you have Bluetooth headphones
in). Nor do I want my phone on silent mode permanently!

Thanks,
