I was hoping that they would be able to to move the background and other person leaving only the lady. I might have to find another photo instead.

Thanks Derek! I’ve managed to get it onto the iPad so I can send it straight to the funeral people who will (I hope) be able to do to it whatever is needed! But many thanks for the offer.

Hi Andrew
If your image is low-res or needs optimising I’d be happy to help (FofC!)

Hi Sam.

I suddenly remembered that I had an SD card reader (USB) and card so I was able to get the photo for the funeral from the macbook onto the SD card and then  onto the ancient iMac, which DOES connect to the internet. And emailed it to the iPad. So the immediate problem is solved.

But I do want to transfer all of the pictures to the iPad ultimately and I think the SD card might be a bit laborious. Though I will try.

Many thanks for your  help! It certainly jogged my aged brain into activity!

Andrew

I don’t have a USB drive but I could probably get one. I might have the adapter already but if not I can get that too.

I will check that out. Thank you.

Do you have a USB drive you can copy the photos to? Might be easiest. You can get a USB to lightning adapter if your iPad doesn’t have USB-C

Hi all.

I have been searching for a picture that I wanted to put up for a funeral of a friend. After searching high and low for this elusive photo I decided to check my old macbook. And sure enough, there is the picture. (Along with hundreds of others which I knew I had taken but couldn’t find!).

The macbook works up to a point but won’t connect to the internet (at least, I can’t persuade it to) and I wondered if there is a way I can connect this ancient macbook to my iPad and transfer all of these pictures across?  Happy to pay someone if they can do this for me. The funeral is in early December.

Thanks

Andrew
