It seems pretty clear to me Jackie.  The sole purpose of the cheering squad
is to encourage the team to victory.  Yes, they do that by getting the crowd
involved.  If someone whose primary job is to encourage the team is not
doing so, then that is in and of itself demoralizing for the team.

last time i checked the football players didnt hire the cheerl;eaders so
what exactly does that have to do with demoralizing the team?
