Hello Sniffer Folks, We have just published version 2-3.1i2 of Message Sniffer for your review. Please find this interim release on our Try-It page at the bottom.
This version includes a new Filter Chain module: UrlDecode - This module scans each anchor and image tag for url encoded characters. If any are found then a decoded version of the tag is injected into the scan stream immediately following the original. This should negate the most common forms of URI obfuscation and further increase the spam capture rate. Also, for MDaemon users who are working with the Plugin and the Beta, we have now released version 0.53b which fixes a bug in the filter chain. This is also available at the bottom of our Try-It page. Please upgrade to these new versions at your earliest convenience and let us know how they are doing. Testing so far indicates that both of these versions are stable enough for production environments - though you should, as always, evaluate your own tolerance for any errors.
