Pete, I plan to use it or something similar in non-production once I set up a new test system.
A quick test with a batch file worked fine. Although I'm no programmer, I have reviewed the source and saw no obvious logical problems or coding flaws. Rigorous testing on the command line showed that it works perfectly. Command line testing also showed that it dealt with extremely large numbers correctly. Command line testing also showed that when passed values that are out of bounds or doggerel, no executable is launched and a safe value of 0 is returned as the return value. Command line testing also showed that it handles long file names (even if Declude doesn't like quotes in filenames) which makes it more generally useful. I think you've done a great job, Pete!
