For the clean install, you have 1. Installed Tomcat by unzipping a distribution
2. Copied soap.war to $CATALINA_HOME/webapps 3. Started Tomcat by running $CATALINA_HOME/bin/startup right? At that point, you can run Tomcat JSP samples and go to Apache SOAP's root (index.html). When you try to access any of the Apache SOAP admin JSPs, you get an error as shown below. Again, is this correct? You will notice that no Apache SOAP classes appear in the stack trace. That's why I wondered if you could run other JSPs. What versions of Tomcat and the JDK do you have? Have you made sure that $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/ext and/or $JAVA_HOME/lib/ext are empty or contain only jars you know must be there?
