Gentlemen,
Let us not get crap started.
There was a scanner in the impound.

There were also VOLENTEER LADIES Doing their best to Keep
things organized.

This is probably the only time that THESE VOLENTEER LADIES
ever touch a transmitter.

The major issue came when a couple of flyers were flying
transmitters with matching frequency pins, with a different
frequency module than was indicated.

They know who they are.

The other issue that occurred, was that the PILOTS and /or
TIMERS, COULD NOT TURN THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT OFF BEFORE
TURNING IN TO THE IMPOUND...... Therefore depending on the
impound volenteers, most of whom, don't know how to operate
the various transmitters.

9/10's of all the labor at the NATS is Volenteer, too many
people do not realize this, and feel free to cast stones at
an event that has been and is getting better than the way
the event was run in the 80's.

Somehow your " NOT FLAMING just asking." is gonna segway
into another Multiplex Commerical at the expense of some
really fine people, and good times had by most at the NATS.

You, having not been there, to watch the operation, and not
to be involed, should refrain from ..............

By the way I lost 2 planes. 8)

respectfully
Jack Strother

Question why was there no scanner in the impound at a AMA
NATS? I have
heard from a few pilots (buying new gear) that they got
shot down at the
AMA sanctioned event because TXs were not impounded
properly and there
was no scanner.

NOT FLAMING just asking.
