About 5-6 years ago, I was flying a Gentle Lady
at the RMSA sod farm when a hawk came in behind
the GL and began to close on it. I was concerned
that he might actually attack the GL, and so I
stirred the sticks. One of the servos was
notoriously noisy and the "growl" caused the hawk
to apply the air brakes hard. Ever seen a hawk stop
in mid-air? While the hawk probably did not stop,
he sure backed off and went on his way.
