Does anyone know if there is a correlation between the ratio of hardener
to epoxy resins to there strength. I ask this because I notice that the
ratio of high performance
epoxies used in full scale composite construction generally runs at four or
five--never (have I seen) ratios of one, two or three used in these in these
applications. Also, does the ultimate hardness of the cured resin equate to
its tensile strength.
Just curious.
