Just a quick thanks to the folks at the hobby shops on the grounds of the AMA site - they opened up literally just for me this morning, for a 4 dollar sale that got my scale ship in the air. DROVE in and opened up.
Thanks Tony for making the call, too - must be nice to have that kind of pull. I was literally on the flight line when my retract stopped locking down - I had set that up 3 years ago, and I used a 2-56 pushrod; it was bending before getting to full extension. I was able to buy a threaded 4-40 rod, 2 locking clevises, and I had the ship in the air within the hour. Just too nice not to acknowledge. Brent RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
