A BIG Thanks, out to Paul Siegel and the Dayton Club,
and the AMA people for the use of the AMA site .

The weather gods were Kind,
Well, sorta, with winds both days in the twenties ±, and
Mondo Air above 1500 agl generally, as well.

Karen and I were gonna take our tow plane, however it was not needed as there were plenty of capable tow aircraft there. Yes, Johnny and Butch were there to tow up even the most gravity challenged aircraft, like my Ventus 2ax.

We arrived about noon Saturday, and flew till about five or so..
Karen got out her RC HUMMER...(stop it) and was practicing her lefty / righty while driving toward her.... A training technique as related by some world champ or another..... go figure !! >:-} At the end of the day, it was off to the hotel and the white Water Rafting Company for some well deserved viddles, and libations !!

Up Sunday Morning and out to the field by nine. We actually started flying about 10:30 - 11,

This get together like most aero tow events was laid back, with lots of FUN, Lots of Flying, Lots of laughter, or for lack of a better term ... Lots of Fellowship !! The rehashing of old stories, about other people, other events, other places, and of course, Sal !! LOL
Somebody make Gellart a real deal on a real aero tow plane....Please !!! ;-)
Oh btw, Sieb needs one too.... :-(

13 aircraft on Saturday, and about the same for Sunday, with about a dozen or so on lookers from 3 states.

Two fatal aircraft Demises, NOT Mine.. marked the event, one was apparently battery related, the other was tow release and miscommunication related
I am still pleased with my Ventus 2ax purchase..
Its just a nice entry level " FULL HOUSE" aero-tow aircraft.

It would not surprise me that this event will grow into one of the springs premiere events for this area,
as long as Paul continues to pay off the weather gods... =D>

Thanks for a fun time,
We look forward to Next Year,

Capn Jack & Karen
