Thanks, Jack! Jack is on my list for doing a solid, also - he and Paul Siegel gave my ship a pre-maiden once over, helped me properly redress my gear issues and gave the final OK on my seat of the pants CG calculations.
Also, I've heard this a dozen times over the last couple years - there is just not a better tow pilot around than Johnny Berlin. He made my maiden a non-event, and he saved a ship that caught a wingtip off the grass. He described it later as knowing there was a problem back there, but he figured out what happened and saved the ship without ever seeing it. Just outstanding. I am kicking myself for missing Saturday's flying, really wish there were more time on the calendar for this kind of flying - if you've not been to or flown in an aerotow, there's nothing like it.
