I can't share Randy Bullard's comments at all..... Don't know what happened to his MM.
I bought one as soon as they came out, and never had any trouble with the radio itself nor with the batteries. The only serious drawback it has IMHO, at least for sailplane pilots, is that it does not have true 4-servo wing capability. Witht he flaperon mixer, and the internal y-lead, you can get it to produce crow effect, but you cannot mix ailerons to flaps, etc. Thats the reason I sold it, to get an mc3030, and later a mc4000.
