You can't take this to the bank, since I haven't been around for club
meetings on the rules, but from what rumor has it at....
no time points count if you thermal over 8' at any time or launch over 4' , and there are no no-fly zones, except over 4000' and winch lines are double normal length, as long as you don't get caught by the CD you and your timer will likely be at the Banquet. Likely though you'll have to attend the pilots meeting for the usual rules

Been testing the Winches today, not one line break and good thermal wind to
make them really grunt too. Good sign for the contest. Plenty of spare
winches, batteries, pedals and line.
Right now the weather says "Its gonna be really sunny with huge rain
storms, snow, hale and winds but calm, warm and pleasant" ;-)
