He's going to expect pilots to fly a certain amount of time and make
landings too!
He told me today that anyone not complying will likely end up with a low score since he is going to be helping with the score keeping. When I asked him about missing the landing zone completely? "I'm putting my
foot down in this one, if someone is even a 1/4" off the end of the tape, he's
going to get zero landing points!"
Get this, he is going to demand that timers actually have stop watches!
"None of this 10, 9:59, 9:58, 9:57 verbal stuff, their going to have a use a
clock of some kind!"
And on the topic of launching, he says that once you get to the top of the
launch and come off the line, timers will forced to start their clocks!.
The guy has gone mad!
likely cuz he's been working his tail off getting us the field, tuning up winches, rounding up spares, testing, making landing tapes, on and on. Guess he gets cranky when he's tired. Gordy |
