We had our annual 2M event Sunday, and one of the guys had an old Monarch (early model) out - it flew good as hell. It launched hard, hung great, turned on a dime, great landing ship - it really was competitive (flying against Gnomes, SuperVs, and Organics).
I had a later model (C or D?), and it was not quite the same ship, but I certainly wouldn't turn my nose up at the one I timed for this weekend. B.
