Personally, I like the original Supra tip configuration as it allows me a quick last minute check on my trailing edge, T/E, setting before launch as well as other setup or any other T/E adjusting procedures.
I checked my Supra wing panels, #'s 16, all glass, 81, carbon and 166, carbon and found no delamination evidence anywhere, so I guess I must not be landing aggresively enough.
