I've been flying a 9303 2.4 in my hand launch for a while now. It's great. I can sneak down to the local vacant lot and fly every evening that the weather allows. The programming is adequate for my needs. The transmitter is light and durable which is a plus for hand launch. So far the link has been solid, but I haven't been flying at a crowded field. I may even have to get a foamy electric or helicopter or something so I can use it more. This radio will do everything that any of my planes need to fly well, and it's a bargain.
I just laid hands on a 2.4 module for my MZ14. I downloaded the new programming and updated the software in my MZ14 yesterday, that is a great feature. The receiver (14 channels worth) has been installed into my 3 meter Rogue. I have a few spare channels :-). Looks good on the bench, maybe this weekend I'll have a chance to try it out. Now my Footabubba radio will transmit on any frequency or band legal for me. That's cool. The programming recognizes the module and brings up the appropriate menus for the band. Way cool. Shift selectable as well, so most of my old receivers will still work with it. Comparing a P4000 to the MZ14 is pointless, the P4000 doesn't come close IMHO.
