The plastic tube for the Easy Glider antenna runs down the center of the
fuselage. If you drill too deeply, you will drill right through that
tube. I think that a 1.5-in.-long dowel is too long. I recommend a
large-diameter dowel glued in as deeply as you can without severing the
antenna tube.

On the Easy Glider you need to make a new tow hook. Most common way is to
drill a 3/8" hole at the very rear end of the existing tow hook tray. Glue
in a 3/8" x 1 1/2" dowel and thread a tow hook into that. It will launch
steeper in the new configuration.

Good to know. We have had some guys inquiring about
soaring and I think this foamie fits the bill. Has
anyone up there tried the 2M (glider) Easy Glider on
the winch? We tried this weekend but the CG was too
far forward. Congrats to Lee on his fantastic
achievement.
