In my previous post, I left out the fact that I was using a Berg RX. As it turns out, the Berg was the problem. I replaced it with a Hitec 555 and the servos are now solid as a rock. No twisted wires, capacitors, or chokes. I even wrapped the long aileron servo wires around the TX antenna and there was not so much as a glitch. I put the Berg in my handlaunch, and it was fine there. The difference is no long servo leads and different (HS-50 rather than CS10) servos. I think there was an impedance mismatch with the Berg RX, the long servo leads, and/or the CS-10s that left the system vunerable to RF swamping. Thanks to all that responded with suggestions, hopefully now the Orion E will fly this weekend.
