This is brings to mind a favorite question of mine. Can a particular plane be
too light? I think "yes". Once in the past I had a plane which I was able to
make "too light". Lighter yielded no real benefit. Heavier yielded no real
penalty.

The difficulty is that this is usually very subjective and thus quite
debatable. Plus, it applies to only a single plane. Change just about anything
and the "minimum weight" will also change.

What weights have folks found to be the minimum desirable? For what planes?
