I flew my SideWinder DLG from Pole Cat Aeroplane Works this morning for
the first time. All I can say is WOW, this discus launch stuff is cool!
By my third launch I was getting massive launch height. The difference
between javelin launching and discus launching is the difference between
launching a Gentle Lady or a molded plane on the winch.
The plane flies great, very easy to fly. Real nice glass work on the
fuse and wing, good price too. Best part is, after a morning of flying
I'm not sore at all. More than I could say after a morning of javelin
launching. Just too cool.
