i dont know about ULTIMATE, but the feathercut is a great setup.... i just
started cutting this season, and it was a good investment. having seen
other, cheaper setups, i'm glad i went this way.

the instructions for making the bow, setting up the pulleys, etc, are very
good. the info on planning how to cut different planforms likewise are good
- thorough, but not overdone.

only suggestion i can make is to put the effort into your templates. i
tried several different flavors of materials, and anything flimsy will just
cause you headaches. i ended up using a light ply, around a 1/16"... cut a
pair of bottom and tops of whatever airfoil / chord you want - make sure you
a) sand it smooth (especially the leading edge of the top template and b)
emphasize the downturn / upturn of the lead out section of the template.
eg, if you have an inch of template beyond the actual airfoil, take the
bottom section up in a curve and take the top down - this makes for a
crisper trailing edge. its amazing how thin you can cut that, and how nice
it is to not have to trim that up to make sections match up.

good luck!
