Fellow soarers...

I'm new to the list and fairly new to soaring. I've been flying now for
about six months and am already thinking about investing in another thermal
chaser. My first investment, and probably not my wisest, was in the Great
Planes Spirit 2-Meter. It's not been a bad learning plane overall and I've
had the opportunity to speck it a couple of times... but here's the delema.
We usually get together and fly at a nearby farm (about 20 minutes away)
when my local soaring club goes out. But, what about all the times that I
want to go flying and don't want to travel to the farm?

Well, my fiance and I are getting ready to move into a new apartment that
has a SMALL field behind it (more like a large grassy knoll - me being the
second gunman <smile>) and I'm thinking that I could probably put a
sailplane down in this area. It's getting it up that will be the challenge.
So, I've been looking around at some electric powered thermal chasers and a
friend of mine through our club, Jack Gross, recommended that I ask the
opinion of this list before making my purchase. ANY advice would be greatly
appreciated!! Here's a couple that I've found that fit my taste:

Anyone with any advice on these aircraft, or with opinions on some that are
better --- please respond... Thanks in advance!!!
