XP is
based on the NT kernel which does not allow software direct access hardware and
you run into a problem. I sent Eric mail and he fixed me up and now CF
runs no problem on XP (Server and Pro).
I just got a new system with XP. Compufoil will not install. Theere is
nothing is wrong with the master disk. So far, this is the only program of any
value that doesn't run on XP.

The same thing happened to me, so
I started using a program by Chuck
Anderson.

It
is not as detailed (as many functions) as Compufoil, but it doesn't cost
nearly as much and I never used everything Compufoil did
anyway.
