I did a review on the Optima a few years back and have one since.

It really is a special battery and perfect for our use.

It can be used with it sitting in any way you want, on end, diagonally or on your living room white carpet, during use or while charging.

It comes with a handle and both wing nut and post terminals.

It can be charged at 30amps.  Actually perfers a higher amp charge
It doesn't loose its flavor on the bedpost overnite, or its charge sitting on the floor (of any material) at all for over a year.

It does not have the slam power of water based batteries but does have plenty of power to pull the wings off many planes, pending the motor on your winch.

You can shoot it with a 357 pistol and it will still work (shown in their catalog).

You can drop it and it won't change anything.

It doesn't get hot.

It looks nice :-)
If I remember correctly the difference between the Blue Top and the Yellow was intended to differentiate between constant use or starter use.  However, from all reports no one I know has been able to see a difference at the field.

It may last forever.
