John--put the .022 on the bottom with CA, then wrap the length with kevlar thread. Warp closely at the root and widen the wraps toward the poly break to maybe 1/4 inch apart. Then CA the thread in place. Makes for a strong spar. A ridge on the wing top is NOT good. Glad you have started the Q.
