I have been using Intellicad, which has a free download available. I also use Autocad, 
but I find Intellicad is more user friendly
and does just about everything I need. It is a very powerful program that the average 
user is unlikely to outgrow.

It is about 19Mb but is worth the effort. I like it a lot better than Turbocad.
