Drafting mylar works nice for this, comes on a roll so has some curl,
has one shiny side and one matte side (takes pencil marks well) and
is light enough for even HLG gap seals, but strong enough for open
class models.  Glue on the matte side, which also happens to curl
the right way (at least on the stuff I have).  Really thin two sided tape
works well also.  The drafting store calls it transfer tape.
