For those of you who are using Windows ME, it has
a nice "FEATURE" that will not allow the Virus
checkers to be repaired or re-installed. If you
are using Norton, go to their website and get
the utility to fix Windows ME and allow the
re-installation of Norton. Follow the instructions
carefully. Last time I had to use it, it ran
in the DOS mode only. Next, get rid of Windows ME.

I still think Norton is the best. It has saved my
Windows 2000 and NT machines when the Microsoft
and McAfee stuff on the Server passed the virus right
to me.
