The phrase "slows down well", or any variant, is subjective. Different folks will give it different meanings. If you're reading marketing information, the phrase means nearly nothing.
My definition, in general terms, is: When the pilot flys the plane at a slow speed, the plane doesn't do anything unexpected. E.g., tip stall, fall out of the sky (sudden straight ahead stall), ailerons still have some effect without inducing a tip stall, etc, etc...
