Dave,

Don't think anything else is going on. They are probably referring to the
use of TE camber. I know dropping the TE 2-3 degrees in a thermal is very
effective on my Psyko's.

If you are dealing with one of the faster/penetrating airfoils, what does it
mean when it is said about the plane that it can 'slow right down'. There's
only 2 ways I can figure out how it does this... trim (tail dragging) or
camber.

Is there something else going on with these type airfoils I am missing?

Thanks,
Dave
