A buddy of mine - the dude who got me into sailplanes when I was a kid, actually - was big into solid balsa wings. I really dig the idea, aesthetically speaking, and I'd like to make some. He recommended airfoils by Jack Chambers and Scott Metze, but I can't seem to find any on the web.
Anyone have coordinates or even just drawings? The airfoils in question are for low Reynolds Numbers - I'm looking at a chord of 6" or so. They're for slope and will have flaperons, so I think a semi-symmetrical or flat-bottomed airfoil might be most appropriate. Any help, including other airfoil recommendations, would be appreciated. I'm looking to make an obnoxiously small plane, maybe around Mosquito-class size. -J RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
